J. MILLARD TAWES, Governor                     1397

title "Crimes and Punishments," subtitle "Posters, Etc.," making
it unlawful in Wicomico County for any person or persons to place
or caused to be placed upon any property of state, county, city
or town or upon any property in which said person or persons have
no right, title, interest, or estate, any political poster, placard,
picture, sign, transparency, or advertisement.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 452 of Article 27 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1957 Edition), title "Crimes and Punishments," subtitle "Posters,
Etc.," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments,
to read as follows:

452.

It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to place or caused
to be placed upon any property of the State, county, city or town,
or upon any property in which said person or persons have no right,
title, interest, or estate, any political poster, placard, picture, sign,
transparency, or advertisement. Any person or persons so doing shall,
upon conviction thereof, before a justice of the peace, be fined not
more than $50 nor less than $10 and costs. Provided, however, that
the requirements of this section shall apply to Carroll, Harford, Wor-
cester, Howard, Anne Arundel, Washington, Prince George's, Wico-
mico
and Baltimore counties only.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.

CHAPTER 661
(House Bill 1058)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 57 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Charles County (1962 Supple-
ment, being Article 9 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land), title "Charles County," subtitle "County Commissioners,"
enabling the Charles County Commissioners to impose rules, regu-
lations, permits and fees for trash disposal in certain areas in the
county, and providing penalties for violation of the regulations
established.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 57 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Charles County
(1962 Supplement, being Article 9 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland), title "Charles County," subtitle "County Commis-
sioners," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments, to read as follows:

57.

The County Commissioners shall, within three months after June
1, 1959, set aside separate areas of land in Charles County to be
used for the purpose of [a dump] the disposal of trash and shall em-
