XII-A of the Charter of the City of Rockville and said Charter being
Chapter 49 of the Montgomery County Code 1960, as amended, said
new Section 9-A to follow immediately after Section 9 thereof and
to read as follows:

9-A. Parking.

For the purpose of financing the design, construction, establish-
ment, extension, alteration, operation or acquisition of public park-
ing facilities in connection with an urban renewal project, the
municipality is authorized to create within its corporate limits
special taxing districts for such purposes and to levy on all real
and personal property subject to ordinary city taxes located within
said special taxing districts an ad valorem tax at a rate sufficient
to provide adequate annual revenues to pay the principal and interest
on any bonds or other obligations of such municipality issued for
such purposes as the said principal and interest may become due.
All such taxes shall be levied in the same manner, upon the same
assessments, for the same period or periods and as of the same
date or dates of finality as are now or may hereafter be prescribed
for ordinary city taxes.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 63 (b)
of Chapter 780 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1959, said
Act having enacted the subtitle "Park and Planning Commission,"
having added this subtitle to the Montgomery County Code (1955
Edition), being Article 16 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland, and having also added this subtitle to the Code of
Public Local Laws of Prince George's County (1953 Edition),
being Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland,
said Section 63 (b) being in the subheading "Regional District,"
relating to the Commission's procedure regarding changes from
the plan proposed at a public hearing thereon. and the require-
ments for another public hearing.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 63 (b) of Chapter 780 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of 1959, said Act having enacted the subtitle "Park and
Planning Commission," having added this subtitle to the Mont-
gomery County Code (1955 Edition), being Article 16 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland, and having also added this sub-
title to the Code of Public Local Laws of Prince George's County
(1953 Edition), being Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland, said Section 63 (b) being in the subheading "Regional
District," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amend-
ments, to read as follows:
