licensed for the purpose of body booting; and it shall be unlawful to
body boot without an accompanying body booting rig. There shall
be an annual charge of five dollars ($5.00) for the license for a body
booting rig; the license shall be issued by the clerk of the Circuit Court
IN THE COUNTY in which the owner of the body booting
rig is a resident OF HARFORD COUNTY TO RESIDENTS OF
THE COUNTY. In the case of resident co-ownership of the body
booting rig, the license may be issued in the names of all the owners.
It shall be unlawful for a non-resident OF HARFORD COUNTY
to body boot unless the legal holder or one of the co-resident owners
of the body booting rig accompanies the rig; and it shall be unlawful
to body boot within five hundred (500) yards of any licensed blind,
gunning rig, or any other body booter. THE PROVISIONS OF THIS
SECTION SHALL NOT BE APPLICABLE TO THOSE TIDAL
WATERS OF HARFORD COUNTY WITHIN THE SUSQUE-
HANNA FLATS AS DEFINED IN SECTION 165 HEREIN, AND
IN SUCH WATERS THE ONLY LICENSE REQUIRED SHALL
BE THE LICENSE REQUIRED UNDER SECTION 173 OF THIS
ARTICLE.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.

(House Bill 643)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 152 of
Article 66C of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition),
title "Natural Resources," subtitle "Birds, Game and Inland Water
Fish," to include new Section 151A, providing for body booting,
within the penalty provisions of Section 152.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 152 of Article 66C of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1957 Edition), title "Natural Resources," subtitle "Birds, Game and
Inland Water Fish," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:
152.
Any person violating any of the provisions of Sections 149 to [151]
151A shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction
before any justice of the peace of this State shall be fined not less than
twenty-five dollars ($25.00) nor more than fifty dollars ($50.00) for
each and every offense and each wild duck, goose, swan or brant so
shot at, killed, or had in possession shall constitute a separate offense
under this section.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.
