AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 108 (23)
of Article 52 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition),
title "Justices of the Peace", sub-title "Trial Magistrates System",
increasing the annual salary of the trial magistrates of Worcester
County.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 108 (23) of Article 52 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1957 Edition), title "Justices of the Peace", sub-title "Trial
Magistrates System", be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:
108.
(23) There shall be four trial magistrates, one of whom shall sit
at Snow Hill and receive an annual salary of [twelve hundred dol-
lars ($1,200.00)] four thousand dollars ($4,000.00); and one of
whom shall sit at Pocomoke and receive an annual salary of [twelve
hundred dollars ($1,200.00)] four thousand dollars ($4,000.00) ; one
of whom shall sit at Berlin and receive an annual salary of [twelve
hundred dollars ($1,200.00)] four thousand dollars ($4,000.00) ; and
one of whom shall sit at Ocean City and receive an annual salary
of [twelve hundred dollars ($1,200.00)] four thousand dollars
($4,000.00). There shall be no constables assigned to trial magis-
trates in Worcester County.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.

AN ACT relating to The Maryland-National Capital Park and Plan-
ning Commission; to add a new section to Chapter 780 of the Acts
of 1959, as amended, said section to be numbered 22D, to follow
immediately after Section 22C of said Chapter, the purpose of this
Act being to add to, and include certain additional areas in, the
Lower Montgomery County Metropolitan District.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 22D be added to Chapter 780 of the Acts of 1959,
as amended, to follow immediately after Section 22C of said Chapter,
and to read as follows:
22D. 1963 Addition to Lower Montgomery County Metropolitan
District.—The boundaries of Lower Montgomery County Metropoli-
tan District are extended by the addition thereto of the five (5)
following described areas which said areas shall hereafter become
integral portions of the Metropolitan District:
