who shall fairly represent the several geographical sections of the
State, and no person shall be appointed to said Commission unless
said person has held or has been the owner of a hunter's license or an
angler's license prior to said appointment; and said person shall be
well informed on the subject of wildlife conservation and restoration,
especially wild waterfowl, birds, game, fur-bearing animals and
inland fishes.
(b) The members of the Commission shall hold office for terms of
five (5) years and shall receive no compensation for their services
as members thereof, except that each Commissioner shall be reim-
bursed for actual and necessary traveling expenses incurred or made
by him in the discharge of his official duties to be paid from the State
Game Protection Fund, [at the rate of five cents (5¢) per mile for
traveling expenses and not more than five dollars ($5.00) per day
for subsistence.]
(c) The Governor of Maryland shall designate one Commissioner
to serve for one year; one Commissioner to serve for two years; one
Commissioner to serve for three years; one Commissioner to serve
for four years; and one Commissioner to serve for five years; all of
said terms shall begin on the first Monday in June, 1939. Thereafter
such appointments of Commissioners shall be for terms of five (5)
years.
(d) Upon the death, resignation or removal from office of any per-
son so appointed as aforesaid, the Governor shall fill the vacancy for
the unexpired term. The Governor may remove a Commissioner for
inefficiency, neglect of duty, or misconduct in office.
(e) The Commission shall hold meetings at the office in [Balti-
more] Annapolis in July and January and at such other times and
places within the State as the Chairman and the Director may
appoint. At the meeting held in July, the Commission shall elect one
of its members as chairman, and one of its members as vice-chairman.
Such officers shall hold office for a period of one year. Three members
of the Commission shall constitute a quorum for the transaction of
business. Provided, however, this sub-heading shall not change the
status in any manner of the present members of said Commission.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 16 (b),
18 (a), 23 (f), 26 (a), and 26 (b) of Article 32A of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1962 Supplement), title "Department of
Law", sub-title "Maryland Securities Act", sub-headings "Regis-
tration of Broker-Dealers and Agents", "Registration of Securi-
ties", and "General Provisions", revising the filing fees charged
for application for registration of broker-dealers and for applica-
tion for registration as agents of partners, officers and directors
of broker-dealers; providing that action by a national securities
