in the yeaer of Our Lord God One Thousand Seven Hundred
Hannah his Wife of Kent County of the one part And Robert
the said William Sweatnam for and in Consideration of One Thous
Seized in ffee Simple Situate in Kent County on Morgans
name of Batchelors Resolution and for Divers good Causes
[and?] given, granted, and by these Presents doth give, grant
and his Heires for Ever, unto him the said Robert Smith his
and Situate on Coursegall Creeke in Chester River in Kent
Chesterfield formerly Surveyed for William Hemsley and by
?? Deed Indented and Enroled in the Records of Talbot County [the?]
his assignes as by the same Deed more at Large appeareth
ard Sweatnam Conveyed or devised unto the above named William
Testament more at Large appeareth Now Know ye he the
Presents doth freely Exchange and make over unto Robert Smith
and Interest Claime and Demand which they now have may
tract of Land or any part or parcell thereof Ritted and
Point of the deviding of the Creeke running East up the Creek ffour
then West to the Creeke And with the Creeke to the first Tree to
To have and to Hold the aforesaid nine Hundred acres together
and appurtenances thereunto belonging Royall mines Excepted
for Ever; against him the said William Sweatnam his Heires
for himselfe and his Heires ffurther Covenant, grant and Agree
Ant to and with Every of them by these Presents yt all whole
now have or ought to have together with all the Pattens Papers,
for Ever hereafter shall be fully wholely and Intirely vested
to his and their only Proper use and behoofe forever without
name his Heires Linneall or Colatorall or by his or their means
whomever to have, hold use and Enjoye free and clear from
somever by him the said William Sweatnam heretofore made
the DAte hereof, what Rents and Services shall henceforth
In Wittness whereof we the Parties to these Presents have
the Day and Year first above written

             Will {seal} Sweatnam --- Hannah {seal} Sweatnam

Endorsed on ye Backside as followeth vidzt
December: the Sixth: 1705
Then Came before us John Salter and John Jordan Two
of her Majesties of ye peace for Kent County William
Sweatnam of the same County And Did acknowledge
the within Deed according to the true Intent and meaning
of the same in order to be inroled in ye records of the
same County
