This Indenture made ye thirtyeth Day of 7ber in the
Between Richard Smythers of Baltemore County
one part and William Pott of Caecill County in the Prov=
Richard Smythers and Blanch his wife for and in
and fourty pounds of good and Lawfull money to
the sealing and Delivery of these prsents whereof they
part thereof Doth acquitt and Discharge The said
these prsents for Ever, hath granted, bargained,
sell, unto the sd William Pott all that Tract or
on the north side of Chester River, att the mo=
=g fords Neck Containeing and Laid out for
=ther wth all the appurtenances, Messuages, houses
in any wise appertaineing, together wth the
thereof, and allsoe, all the Estate, right, title,
=soever of them the said Richard Smythers & Blanch
of, in, and too Every part and parcell thereof, wth ye
=ings yt Concern: the sd prmises or any part thereof
of Land together with all the appertenances unto ye
from the Day of the Date of these prsents unto ye
next Ensueing and fully to be Compleate and End=
yielding and paying therefore yearly and Every
Day of march If the same be Lawfully Demanded, &
nevertheless yt If the sd Richard Smythers, and Blanch
well and truly pay or cause to be paid unto the sd Will-
of him the said William Pott, the full sum of two hundra
England at upon, or before the twenty sixth Day of
Seaven hundred and Seaven, free, and Clear, of any
howsoever. That then and from Thenceforth this
Cease, Determine and be utterly voyde, frustrate
and remaine in full force, any thing in these prsents
And the sd Richard Smythers and Blanch his wife
Every of them Doth Covenant & promise and grant
assignes by these prsents That in case Default shall
and forty pounds before herein Mentioned or any part
that then and from thenceforth all att all times
said William Pott his heires, Exrs, admrs, & assignes,
all the sd tract or parcell of Land and all other the
by these prsents granted, without any Lawfull Suit,
or by them The sd Richard Smythers and Blanch
them, or of or by any pson or persons whattsoever
wife shall and will make Doe, knowledge, suffer
and things, Devise, and Devises, whatsoever, for the
tract of Land and all other the prmisses by these
Exrs admrs and assignes Dureing the sd terme of
admrs, or assignes or by his or their Councill Learned
Wittness whereof the partyes above named have
hands and seales the Day and year above written
