Know all men by these prsents That I Judith Dowdall
have and by these prsents Doe authorize appoint and in my p--
Earle & Mr Edwd Scott or either of them Joyntly & Severally my
eveer & acknowledge unto Robert Hill of Knt County a Certain
Delivered beareing even date wth these prsents for Two Hundred
Maryland called by the name of Woolerhampton wth the appr[tenances?]
Majties Justices of ye peace for ye sd County of Kent, or others
my hand and seale this ffifteenth Day of ffebry in ye year of our

This Indenture made the        Day of       
Betweene Robert Smith of Talbot county in the province of
aforesaid Province planter on the other part Wittnesseth That the
Pounds of good sound merchtable Tobacco & Caske to him in hand
before the Ensealing & deliveery of these presents The receipt where
and of Every part & parcell thereof doth Clearely & absolutely
and administrators and Every of them for ever by these prsents
Smith thereunto moveing hath given granted Bargained Sold
freely and absolutely give grant Bargaine sell aliene Enfeoffe
all that Tract or parcell of Land part of a Tract of Land
a fork of Chester river in Kent County betweene a branch called
at a marked Hickory tree being the ffirst Tree of John Longs
east One Hundred and Sixty perches Then west & by south one
to the branch and with the branch to the ffirst Tree Containeing
of Land Together with all the rights profitts priviledges benefits
belonging to the only use and behoofe of him the sd Charles Baker
released Exonerated acquitted & Discharged of and from all
soever the rents & services which henceforth shall grow due
Excepted & foreprized And further ye sd Robert Smith doth for
Charles Baker his Heires and assignes and to and with every
Together with all and Every of theire appurtenances are
ffurther the sd Robert Smith doe by these prsents bind himselfe and his
and assignes against all manner of Persons whatsoever will for ever
and fully release all the right Title Interest Estate Claime & demand
whatsoever is hereby wholely released & Invested in & upon the sd
& assignes to make doe Execute & suffer or Cause to be made done Executed
requisitt in ye prmises as he ye sd Charles Baker his Heires & assignes
require In Wittness whereof the parties above named in these prsents
year first above written
Signd Seaed & Delivered         The above Deed was Endorsed
in ye prsents of                  November 28th 1705
Solomon Wright             Then Came the within named
