Ordered by this Court here that the fine afd be delivered
the sherr. of Kent County And William Harris Gent. sherr. present
here in Court Acknowledgeth the receipt of the same

His Lordship    Wee the Grand Jurors for the body
agt    of this county of Kent do present
Francis Jones    Francis Jones for an Assault & battery
on the body of William Simcocks            John Brown form.

His Lordship    Kent County fst Be it
agt    remembered that on the eighth
William Burcam    day of August in the Year of Our
Lord seventeen hundred thirty and eight personally Appeared
William Burcam and James Moore and Acknow before
me the Subscriber One of his Lordships Justices of the
Peace for the County afd And Acknowledged themselves
Indebted unto his Lordship the right honourable the
Lord propry of Maryland in the sum of ten pounds currt.
money of Maryland Each to be made and Leveyed on their
bodies goods and Chattles Lands and Tenements for
the use of his said Lordship his heirs and Successors
With Condition to this recognizance that he the said
William Burcam do make his personally before
the Justices of Our next County Court to be held at
Our Court house in the Town of Chester in said County
on the third tuesday in August next then and there to
Answer unto what shall be Objected against him on his
Lordships behalf and in the mean time to be of good
behavour Especially to Martha Barton And
