37 Lord propry his good rule & Government &ca Whereforethe same Attorney of the same Lord propry for the same Lord propry prayeth the Advice of the Court here in the premisses and that due process of Law in this part against the afd Charles Smith may be made to Answer unto the said Lord propry of and upon the premisses &ca. Francis And now here to wit at Kent County afd at the Court house in the Town of Chester in said County on the third tuesday of August being the fifteenth day of said month in the Year of Our Lord Seventeen hundred thirty and eight cometh the afd Lord Propry by Tench Francis his Attry and prayeth that the afd Charles to the Information afd might Answer And the afd Charles in his Proper Person comes and defends the force and injury when &c And siath that he cannot gainsay the Information afd so as afd against him brought nor can he say but that he is Guilty of the Premisses afd Above upon him Imposed as by the Information afd it is alledged and thereupon Submits to the Court &ca. Therefore it is Considered by the Justices here to wit at Kent County afd at the Court house in the Town of Chester in said County on the third tuesday of Augst. being the fifteenth day of said month in the Year of Our Lord Seventeen hundred thirty and eight that the afd Charles Smith pay the sum of two pounds ten shillings Current money of Maryland As a fine for Committing the Offence afd Also it si Consid: :ered by the Justices afd at the time and place afd |
