The bill entitled an act to change the name of Daniel Hart
Taylor, to Daniel Taylor Hart.

The bill entitled, an act authorising the redemption of
stamps issued under the Act of Assembly, passed March 10th,
1845, which have not been used, and are rendered useless by
the repeal of said act;

Was read the second time.

The Senate bill entitled, an act confirmatory of the act
passed at January session, eighteen hundred and fifty-six,
appropriating the sum of one hundred dollars, as compensa-
tion to Henry Hagan, of Allegany county, for the arrest of
Miller, who was executed at Cumberland for the murder of
Doctor Hadel and Mr. Graff;

Was read the third time, and passed by yeas and nays, as
follows:
