Leave was granted the committee on Judiciary to bring in
a bill to enable either party, in actions of ejectment and of
trespass quare clausum fregit, to correct by testimony any
errors in the description of the property intended to be con-
veyed by any patent or deed which may be offered in evidence
in such case.
On motion of Mr. Day,
Leave was granted the committee on Colored Population,
to introduce a bill authorising the wale of all free negroes who
may be convicted of felony or larceny, in the State of Mary-
land.
On motion of Mr. Hobbs,
Leave was granted the Frederick and Carroll county dele-
gations, to introduce a bill to authorise Nicholas Norris, ex-
ecutor of Arnold Norris, to execute a deed to Israel Norris, for
property which he holds by bond of conveyance from said de-
ceased.
On motion of Mr. Summers,
Leave was granted the committee on Education, to intro-
duce a bill to divide among the several counties, and the city
of Baltimore, in proportion to their representation in the
General Assembly, for common school purposes, the sum of
money received from the Treasurer of the United States, on
account of interest on moneys advanced by the State of Mary-
land to the general government.
On motion of Mr. Summers,
Leave was granted the committee on Ways and Means, to
introduce a bill to amend the act of 1852, chapter 56, in re-
ference to the salary of the chief clerk to the. Comptroller of
the Treasury.
On motion of Mr. Summers,
Leave was granted the committee on Ways and Means, to
introduce a bill to regulate the mileage of members of the
Legislature.
On motion of Mr. Sudler, of Somerset,
Leave was granted the committee on Judiciary, to intro-
duce a bill for the increase of the per diem allowance of the
Judges of the Orphans' Courts in this State.
On motion of Mr. Reindollar,
Leave was granted the committee on Corporations, to intro-
duce a bill to incorporate the Trustees of the primary schools
of Carroll county, and to define their duties,
