of Q. Anne's, Landing, Spence, Hearn, Thomas, Bowlus,
Root, Baker, Todd, McGonigal, Smith, of Baltimore city,
Kennard, Lynch, of Baltimore city, Harrington, Alexan-
der, Riddlemoser, Worthington and McKinstry.

The bill entitled, a supplement to an act passed December
session 1826, chapter 123, entitled an act to incorporate the
Baltimore and Ohio Rail Road Company;

Was read the second time, by special order the third time,
and passed by yeas and nays as follow:

The said bill was then sent to the Senate.

On motion of Mr. Hearn,
The House resolved itself into committee of the whole,

On the bill entitled, an act to provide for the payment of
the unexpended balance of the appropriation made for inter-
nal improvements on the Eastern Shore of this State, by the
act of December session 1835, chapter 395;

Mr. Grieves, of Dorchester, in the Chair.

After some time, the Speaker resumed the Chair, and Mr.
Grieves, Chairman of the committee of the whole House, re-
ported that the committee had had under consideration the
original bill, and the substitute therefor, and reported unfa-
vorably on the substitute;

Which report was accepted.

The question was then taken on the substitute, and it was
determined in the negative;

The House then resumed the consideration of the original
bill.
