The House took up for consideration,

The Senate bill entitled, an act to provide for the payment
of the unexpended balance of the appropriation made for in-
ternal improvements on the Eastern Shore of this State, by
the act of December session, 1835, chapter 395.

Said bill being upon its second reading,
On motion of Mr. Stirling,

The House went into committee of the Whole on the bill
entitled, an act to provide for the payment of the unexpended
balance of the appropriation made for internal improvements
on the Eastern Shore of this State, by the act of December
session, 1835, chapter 395;

Mr. Grieves, of Dorchester, in the chair.

After some time spent in committee of the Whole,

The Speaker resumed the chair, and

Mr. Grieves, chairman of the committee of the Whole, re-
ported that the committee had had under consideration the
bill entitled, an act to provide for the payment of the unex-
pended balance of the appropriation made for internal im-
provements on the Eastern Shore of this State, by the act of
December session., 1835, chapter 395; and had had some pro-
gress therein, and asked leave to sit again at 4½ o'clock.

On motion of Mr. Stirling,
The House adjourned until 4¼ o'clock.
