tee on Corporations; also,

A bill entitled, an act to change the name of the office of
State Agricultural Chemist, to that of State Chemist and Ge-
ologist, and to prescribe the duties of that office;

Which was read the first time, and referred to the commit-
tee on Agriculture;

On motion of Mr. Belt,

A call of the House was ordered, when it appeared that
thirty-nine members were present;

On motion of Mr. Crowley,
Further proceedings under the call were dispensed with;

The bill entitled, an act for the relief of the sureties on the
official bond of John W. Wilburn, former collector of State
taxes for the second district of Calvert county;

Was read the second and third times, by special order, and
