Smith, of Baltimore county, Goldsborough, Waller, Sudler,
of Somerset, Tilghman, Dail, Grieves, Davis, Ford, of
Cecil, Kidd, Belt, Wyville, Landing, Spence, Root, Baker,
Todd, Stirling, McPherson, Smith, of Baltimore city, Ken-
nard, Lynch, of Baltimore city, Crowley, Forrest, Alex-
ander, Rohrer, Gray, Schnebly, Riddlemoser, Worthington,
Kilgour.

The Secretary of the Senate delivered the following bills:

A bill entitled, an act to regulate the issuing of licenses,
for the sale of intoxicating liquors in Cecil, Kent and Somer-
set counties;

Endorsed, ''passed by yeas and nays."

Which was read the first time, and referred to Cecil, Kent
and Somerset county delegations; also,

A bill entitled, an act relating to the paying of subscrip-
tions, to the capital stock of corporations, formed under the
act of eighteen hundred and fifty-two, chapter three hundred
and thirty-eight, entitled, an act to authorise the formation
of corporations for manufacturing purposes, and relating to
the extent of land and mineral rights, that such corporations
may hold;

Endorsed, "passed by yeas and nays."

Which was read the first time, and referred to the commit-
tee on Corporations; also,

A bill entitled, an act to make valid a deed from John H.
Catts to Sarah Catts;

Endorsed, "passed by yeas and nays."

Which was read the first time, and referred to the com-
mittee on Judiciary; also,

A bill entitled, an act to provide for the formation of cor-
porations, for the building of a railroad in Caroline county;

Endorsed, "passed by yeas and nays."

Which was read the first time, and referred to the commit-
tee on Corporations; also,

A bill entitled, an act to incorporate the American Im-
provement Company;

Endorsed, "passed by yeas and nays."

Which was read the first time, and referred to the commit-
tee on Corporations; also,

A bill entitled, an act amendatory of an act, passed at De-
cember session, eighteen hundred and forty-nine, chapter
three hundred and twenty-five, entitled, a supplement to an
act entitled, an act to incorporate the Cumberland Saving's
Institution;
