Mr. Rogers proposed the following amendment:

"Strike out the word "Baltimore city," wherever they oc-
cur in said section:

Which was assented to.

Mr. Neale proposed the following amendment:
In section 9, line 5, after the words "having no visible,"
insert "or tangible,"

Which was not assented to.

Mr. Neale proposed the following amendment:

"In section 10, line 6, after the words "shall be sold,"

strike out "out of the State of Maryland," and insert "in the

State of Maryland,"

Which was assented to.

Mr. Worthington proposed the following amendment:

In section 10, line 5, after the word "out," insert "with-
out sufficient cause shown to the Orphans' Court,"

Which was assented to.

Mr. Contee proposed the following amendment:
In section 10, line 7, after the word "Maryland," insert
"for the term of one year."

Mr. Grieves proposed the following as a substitute :

In section 10, line 7, after the word "Maryland" insert "for
such term as the Judges of the Orphans' Court of the respec-
tive counties and the city of Baltimore may designate,"

In section 11, line 7, strike out the word "residents," and
insert "freeholders,"
