Which was adopted.

Mr. Summers, offered the following order :

Ordered, That the printer be instructed to furnish each
member of this House with five additional copies of the Jour-
nals of this House and that of the Senate, daily;

Which was adopted.

On motion of Mr. Reindollar,

Leave was granted to the committee on Judiciary, to intro-
duce a bill to alter and amend the attachment law of 1849,
chapter 269, in so far as relates to Carroll county.

On motion of Mr. Alexander,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary, to bring
in a bill for the relief of the heirs and personal representatives
of J. Mabury Turner, deceased.

On motion of Mr. Welling,

Leave was granted to the Howard county delegation to in-
troduce a bill to allow Elizabeth Rowles and others, to sell
certain real and personal estate.

On motion of Mr. Belt,

Leave was granted to the committee on Judiciary, to bring
in a bill altering and amending the present license laws of this
State.

On motion of Mr. Contee,

Leave was granted to the Prince George's county delega-
tion to introduce a bill to provide against the evils arising
from hucksters and others dealing with negroes within the
limits of said county.

On motion Mr. Hobbs,

Leave was granted to the committee on Judiciary to intro-
duce a bill relative to the validity of deeds, &c.

On motion of Mr. Alexander,

Leave was granted to the committee on Ways and Means,
to bring in a bill to assess and levy a tax upon certain property
now exempt:

Except the land and buildings, thereon erected and dedica-
ted, and used exclusively for divine worship: and embracing
a quantity of land not exceeding thirty feet immediately ad-
joining and extending beyond the walls of said buildings.

On motion of Mr. Magruder,

Leave was granted to the committee on Judiciary to intro-
duce a bill supplementary to the act of December session 1831,
chapter 281, entitled, an act relating to the people of labor
