56                   JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Jan. 14,

Which was read the first time and referred to the Anne Arun-
del county delegation.

The House took up for consideration the resolutions introduced
by Mr. Grieves, in relation to the Governor's Message.

Mr. Mackubin moved that the consideration of said resolutions
be deferred until Thursday next;

Which was determined in the affirmative.

Mr. Koons moved to reconsider the vote just taken.

Which was determined in the negative.

And the subject made the order of the day for Thursday.
On motion of Mr. Magruder,

The rules were suspended and he reported a bill from the Com-
mittee on Judiciary, entitled, an act to grant the leave of the
Legislature to a sale of land to the Vestry of Saint Paul's Parish,
in Calvert county;

Which was read the first time, by special order read the second
and third times, and passed by yeas and nays as follows:
