Cecil county, to make a deed of a certain lot of ground in
said village, to the trustees of the Methodist Episcopal church
in said village.

On motion of Mr. Thruston,

Leave was granted to the Allegany county delegation, to
bring in a bill to authorise Henry Maguire, a negro slave, to
be sold out of the State.

On motion of Mr. Kilbourn,

Leave was granted the committee on Inspections, to intro-
duce a bill to regulate the inspection of flour.

On motion of Mr. Grieves,

Leave was granted to withdraw from the files of the House
the papers filed in resolution No. 43 of the session of the Leg-
islature of 1820.

On motion of Mr. Waller,

Leave was granted to the committee on Ways and Means,
to bring in a bill to allow Nathan J. Lankford, late sheriff
and collector of Somerset county further time to complete his
collections.

On motion of Mr. Hanway,

Leave was granted the committee on Corporations, to re-
port a bill, a supplement to an act entitled, an act to incor-
porate the Conowingo Bridge company.
On motion of Mr. Worthington,

Leave was granted the Montgomery county delegation, to
introduce a bill for the benefit of Rezin Willcoxen, of Mont-
gomery county.

On motion of Mr. Hobbs,

Leave was granted to the committee on Judiciary, to intro-
duce a bill making it obligatory on the clerk of Frederick
county to require an applicant for license to sell spirituous or
malt liquors, to be recommended by at least twelve of his
nearest neighbors, who shall be freeholders.

On motion of Mr. Hobbs,

Leave was granted to the Frederick county delegation, to
introduce a bill to create a new election district, out of parts
of Frederick, Woodsborough and Creagerstown Districts, in
Frederick county.

On motion of Mr. Hobbs,

Leave was granted to the Frederick county delegation, to
introduce a bill creating an additional justice of the peace in
Petersville District in Frederick county.

On motion of Mr. Kennard,
