On motion of Mr. Rogers.

Leave was granted to the committee on Judiciary, to intro-
duce a bill for the relief of Rebecca S. Neill, widow of Cap-
tain Frederick Neill, late of Baltimore county, deceased ;

On motion of Mr. Rogers,

The rules were suspended, and

He presented a petition from 'Rebecca T. Neill, widow of
Captain Frederick Neill., late of Baltimore county, deceased,
asking the relief therein mentioned ;

Which was referred to the committee on Judiciary,
On motion of Mr. Todd,

Leave was granted to the Caroline county delegation, to
introduce a bill to increase the tax on the taxable property
for the benefit of the Primary School District No. 3, in the
2nd Election District of Caroline county ;

On motion of Mr. Riddlemoser,

Leave was granted to the committee on Judiciary, to alter
the title of a bill from an act to exempt from execution a
certain amount of property of a debtor to an act to carry into
effect the 39th section of the 3rd article of the constitution, of
exempting from execution, a certain amount of property ;

Mr. Dorsey, offered the following order: .

Ordered, That the bill No. 191, which stands before the
House with an unfavorable report, be recommitted to the
committee on Lotteries;

Which was adopted.

On motion of Mr. Allender,

Leave was granted to the Baltimore and Harford county
delegations, to bring in a bill to authorise the county Commis-
sioner of Baltimore and Harford counties, to build a bridge
over the Little Gunpowder at James Treadwell's Mill;
On motion of Mr. Rogers,

The rules were suspended, and

He reported favorably from the committee on Judiciary,
the bill entitled, an act supplementary to an act entitled, an
act respecting Notaries Public in this State, passed December
session 1801;

Which was read the first time.
On motion of Mr. Rogers,

The rules were suspended, and

Said bill was read the second time, and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.
