On motion of Mr. Hobbs,

Leave was granted to the committee on Roads and High-
ways to introduce a bill granting the County Commissioners
of the several counties of this State, the exclusive power to
open, alter and close roads in their respective counties ;

On motion of Mr. Harrington,

Leave was granted the Baltimore city and county delega-
tions, to introduce a bill for an act to consummate the division
of the joint property of the city and county of Baltimore ;

On motion of Mr. Riddlemoser,

Leave was granted the Washington county delegation to in-
troduce a bill incorporating the Town Hall Company, at Lei-
tersburg, Washington county, Maryland ;

On motion of Mr. Meginnis,

Leave was granted to the Kent county delegation to intro-
duce a bill to incorporate the town of George Town Cross
Roads, and to change the name of said town to that of
"Galena;"

On motion of Mr. Lynch, of Baltimore county,
