Endorsed, "passed by yeas and nays, without amend-
ment."

The hour having arrived for taking up the order of the day;

The House resumed the consideration of the bill entitled,
an act to prohibit the Courts of the State and the Judges and
Clerks thereof from receiving declarations of intention to be-
come citizens of the United States, and from granting certifi-
cates of naturalization;                                                   

Pending the second reading thereof:
On motion, the House adjourned.

EVENING SESSION, 7½, P. M.

The House met. Present at the call of the roll the follow-
ing members:

Lynch, of Baltimore city, Harrington, Crowley, Alexander,
Rohrer, Summers, Gray, Schnebley, Duvall, Worthington,
Kilgour, Barnard, Mountz, McKinstry, Reindollar.

The bill entitled, an act to refund to Zadok Marshall, of
Worcester county, a certain sum of money erroneously paid
into the Treasury;

Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for,
a third reading.

The bill entitled, an act to facilitate the collection of taxes
in arrear in Baltimore county ;

Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.
