Which was referred to the Worcester county delegation.

Mr. Koons presented a petition from Chas. A. Shorb and
one hundred and thirty-five other citizens of Frederick coun-
ty praying the passage of an act authorizing the county com-
missioners of said county to levy a sum of money to build a
bridge across Owings' creek at Ley's Fording in said county;

Which was referred to the Frederick county delegation.

Mr. Barnard presented a petition of A. M. Cleary and fifty-
one other citizens of Allegany county, praying for the speedy
adjustment of the boundary lines of this State;

Which was referred to the select committee already ap-
pointed on that subject.

Mr. Weekes presented a petition from Thos. F. Copper, of
Kent county, to make valid a deed from Rev. Clement F.
Jones to said Copper;

Which was referred to the committee on Judiciary.

Mr. Baker presented a petition from Jacob A. Preston and
sixty-five other citizens of Harford county, asking that non
residents be prohibited from fishing in the head waters of the
Chesapeake bay, and its tributaries;

Which was referred to the committee on Judiciary.

Mr. Baker presented a petition from Jacob A. Preston and
eighty-two other citizens of Harford county, asking that
negroes be prohibited from gilling for fish in the head waters
of the Chesapeake bay, and its tributaries;

Which was referred to the committee on Colored Popula-
tion.

Mr. Worthington presented a petition from Leonard Hays
and twelve others, praying for the passage of a law for the
benefit of Geo. Riggs, a free negro, of Montgomery county;

Which was referred to the committee on Colored Popu-
lation.

Mr. Hanway presented a petition from Thomas J. Murphy,
Jacob A. Preston, Samuel Sutton and other citizens of Har-
ford county, praying the passage of a bill to inspect wheat
and other grain, in the Baltimore market;

Which was referred to the committee on Agriculture.
Mr. Smith, of Baltimore city, presented a petition from

Wethered Bros, and others in favor of a Prohibatory Liquor
Law;

Which was referred to the committee on Judiciary.

Mr. Forrest presented a petition from the first Colored
Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of the State of
Maryland, asking to hare an act of incorporation;
