On motion of Mr. Kennard,

Leave was granted to the committee on Ways and Means,
to introduce a bill to exempt from taxation the Red Men's
Hall, of Baltimore city.

On motion of Mr. Harrington,

Leave was granted to the committee on Corporations, to
introduce a bill to incorporate the Union Gas Company, of
the city of Baltimore.

On motion of Mr. Harrington,

Leave was granted to the committee on Corporations, to
introduce a bill to incorporate the Mineral Hill Copper Min-
ing Company, of Baltimore.
On motion of Mr. Contee,

Leave was granted to the committee on Corporations, to
introduce a bill to incorporate the Barton Coal Company.
On motion of Mr. Morgan,

Leave was granted to the St. Mary's county delegation to
bring in a bill to authorise the County Commissioners of St.
Mary's county, to close the public landing at the Queen Tree,
in said county, and condemn a new landing near the same, and
to change the road thereto.

On motion of Mr. Welling,

Leave was granted the Howard and Montgomery county
delegations, to introduce a bill to authorise the repair or re-
building and keeping in repair of the bridge over the Patux-
ent river, at Brown's, late Gaither's Ford, in Howard and
Montgomery counties.

On motion of Mr. Rohrer,

Leave was granted the Washington county delegation, to
introduce a bill to change the boundary line between election
districts Nos. 1 and 8, in Washington county.

On motion of Mr. Hobbs,

Leave was granted to the committee on Corporations, to in-
troduce a bill to incorporate the Jefferson Division No. 163
of the Son's of Temperance, of Frederick county.

On motion of Mr. Rogers,

Leave was granted to the committee on Corporations, to in-
troduce a bill entitled, an act to incorporate the Baltimore
Exchange Building's Company.

On motion of Mr. Lynch, of Baltimore city,
Leave was granted the committee on Judiciary, to intro-
duce a bill to punish as felonies certain offences now denomi-
nated breaches of trust.
