Which was adopted.

On motion of Mr. Worthington,

Leave was granted the committee on Claims to introduce a
bill to refund certain moneys to Mrs. Mary Tabler, of Frede-
rick county.

On motion of Mr. Ford, of Baltimore county,

Leave was granted the committee on Corporations to bring
in a bill to continue the corporate existence of the Elysville
Manufacturing Company, of Baltimore county.

On motion of Mr. Smith, of Baltimore county,
Leave was granted the committee on Corporations, to intro-
duce a bill to incorporate "The Towsontown Rail Road Com-
pany.''

On motion of Mr. Stirling,

Leave was granted to the committee on Judiciary, to in-
troduce a bill to perpetuate the evidence of the organization
of the Bloomingdale Turnpike Road Company.

On motion of Mr. Day,

Leave was granted the committee on Inspections, to intro-
duce a bill providing for the inspection and weighing of Tan
Bark.

On motion of Mr. McGonigal,

Leave was granted the committee on Claims, to introduce
a bill to refund to William Loockerman, of Caroline county,
certain taxes overpaid by him.

On motion of Mr. Sudler, of Queen Anne's county,

Leave was granted the committee on Claims, to introduce a
bill requiring the treasurer to pay John Palmer, late clerk of
Queen Anne's Circuit Court, certain fees due him by the State.

On motion of Mr. Sudler, of Queen Anne's county,

Leave was granted the Queen Anne's county delegation to
introduce a bill authorizing the County Commissioners of
Queen Anne's county, to dispense with so much of the second
section of the act of eighteen hundred and two, chapter eighty-
one, as requires notice to be given by written statements, set
up in the various election districts, of all moneys levied for '
county purposes; and in lieu thereof, to cause said notices to
be given by advertisement in the newspapers printed in said
county.

On motion of Mr. McKinstry,

Leave was granted the Frederick and Carroll county dele-
gations, to introduce a bill to make valid a deed from Thomas
Warfield, late of Frederick county, deceased, to Warfield
Simpson.
