erly collected of her for the use of the State;

Which was read the first time.

The Senate bill entitled, an act amendatory of an act en-
titled, an act to provide for the formation of corporations of
moral, scientific, dramatic, agricultural or charitable purpo-
ses, &c, passed May 13th, 1852, chapter 231;

Was read the second time, and ordered to he engrossed for
a third reading.

The bill entitled, an act to amend an act entitled, an act
to prescribe the duties of the Comptroller of the Treasury;

Was read the second time, and ordered to he engrossed for
a third reading.

The bill entitled, an act amendatory of an act relating to
the. records of conveyances in the several counties in this
State, passed December session, 1833, chapter 88;

Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The bill entitled, an act relating to the deeds of collectors,
sheriffs, coroners, elisors, trustees or other officers, in this
State;

Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The bill entitled, an act empower administrators de bonis
non to recover for devastavit committed by an executor or
administrator ;

Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The bill entitled, an act to establish a uniform rate of com-
pensation for the Judges of the Orphans' Courts of the several
counties of this State ;

Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed
for a third reading.

The bill entitled, an additional supplement to an act con-
cerning the Annapolis and Elkridge Railroad Company, pass-
ed at December session 1841, chapter, 168 ;

Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The hour of 12 o'clock having arrived, the House took up
for consideration the order of the day it being a bill entitled,
an act for the establishment of a Normal or Training School
for Teachers, and an office in connection therewith for the
collection and dissemination of information on the subject of
Education at St. John's College, in the city of Annapolis;
