Mr. Hobbs from a special committee reported favorably on
a bill entitled, an act to incorporate the trustees of Central
School in Frederick county:

Mr. Hobbs from a special committee reported favorably on
a bill entitled an act to authorise the Jefferson Division No.
163, of the Sons of Temperance to erect an additional story
upon the Primary School House in Jefferson School District,
Frederick county;

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Smith, of Baltimore city, reported favorably on a bill
entitled, an act to amend the act entitled, an act to establish
a House of Refuge for juvenile delinquents, &c;

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Belt reported a bill entitled, an act to protect the people
of this State, in the free exercise of the elective franchise;

Which was read the first time, and,
Referred to the committee on Judiciary.

Mr. Belt reported a bill entitled, an act to amend an act
entitled, an act to provide for the opening of a Docket by the
Registers of Wills in this State for the entry of claim papers
by the Registers and Orphan's Court against deceased persons,
passed at January session 1854, chapter 60:

of coroners of Baltimore city, and fixing their compensation ;

missioned by the Mayor of Baltimore, under an ordinance of

the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, to issue summonses
