Present at the call of the roll, the following Messrs. Berry, Speaker, Morgan, Neale, Wickes, Meginnis, The proceedings of yesterday were read. On motion of Mr. Hobbs; The Sergeant of Arms, Mr. Shoemaker took the oath of office. Mr. Lynch, offered a petition of the officers and members of Which was referred to the committee on Claims, hereafter to be Mr. Kilbourne, offered a petition from the citizens of Anne Which was referred to committee on Education, hereafter to Mr. Harrington, offered a petition of 175 of the citizens |
