The secretary of the Senate delivered the following bill, en-
titled an act confirmatory of the act passed at January session
eighteen hundred and fifty-six, appropriating the sum of one hun-
dred dollars as compensation to Henry Hagan, of Allegany county,
for the arrest of Miller, who was executed at Cumberland for
