Mr. Baker presented a petition from four hundred citizens of
Harford county, praying for the passage of a law for the pro-
tection of sheep in said county;

Which was referred to the committee on Agriculture.

Mr. Koons presented a petition from ninety-two citizens of
Frederick county, praying the passage of a law to protect
wild fowl in this State;

Which was referred to the committee on Agriculture.

Mr. Thruston presented a petition from Samuel Luman
and others, hotel keepers of the city of Cumberland, praying
the passage of a law to prevent impositions of transient
boarders;

Which was referred to the committee on Judiciary.

Mr. Ford, of Cecil, presented a petition from Dr. L. R.
Kirk, James McKown, James Hogg and forty-five other
citizens of Cecil county, praying the passage of a school bill
for said county, therein named;

Which was referred to the committee on Education.

Mr. Todd presented a petition from S. A. Willis and
others, praying the passage of an act requiring the removal
of gates from the public roads in the Third District of Caro-
line county;

Which was referred to the Caroline county delegation.

Mr. Alexander presented a memorial from Levi Benjamin,
Jacob Benjamin and Isaac Lobe, pawn-brokers of Baltimore
city, praying relief in cases therein mentioned;

Which was referred to the committee on Judiciary.

Mr. Kennard presented a memorial from fifty-four males
and seventy-one females of Baltimore city, asking for protec-
tion against the sale of intoxicating liquors;

Which was referred to the committee on Judiciary.

Mr. Forrest presented a memorial from three hundred and
twenty-six citizens of Baltimore city, asking for the repeal of
the inspection laws;

Which was referred to the committee on Inspections.

Mr. Forrest presented a memorial from two hundred and
thirty-two citizens of Baltimore city, asking for the repeal of
the Inspection Laws ;

Which was referred to the committee on Inspections.

Mr. Forrest presented a memorial from one hundred and
