Mr. Ford, of Baltimore county, presented a petition from
Richard Grason and R. R. Boarman, asking compensation for
professional services;

Which was referred to the Baltimore county delegation.

Mr. Alexander presented a petition from Eliza Mills, of the
city of Annapolis, praying for the pension due her mother as
the widow of Henry Gassaway, a Revolutionary officer;

Which was referred to the committee on Pensions.

Mr. Welling presented a petition from James Harban and
49 other citizens of Howard and Montgomery counties, for a
road through Howard and part of Montgomery county;

Which was referred to Howard and Montgomery county
delegations.

Mr. Mackubin presented the account of John W. Davis, of
the city of Annapolis, for work done by order of the Speaker
of the last House of Delegates;

Mr. Mackubin presented a memorial from sundry citizens
of Anne Arundel county, praying the passage of a law ap-
pointing inspectors, and regulating the sale of certain
manures in the city of Baltimore;

corder and Aldermen of the city of Annapolis, praying the
passage of a law prohibiting the sale, &c., by venders of ar-
