Ordered, That the Judiciary committee (when appointed) be
instructed to inquire into the expediency of providing by law for
the inspection of alcoholic liquors and malt beverages, making the
manufacture and sale of such articles, when not genuine, or in
any way containing poisonous ingredients, punishable by fine and
imprisonment;

Which was adopted.

Mr. Hobbs offered the petition of citizens of Frederick county,
praying an act to authorize the Board of Primary School Inspect-
ors for said county to sell a school house in Franklin School Dis-
trict, No. 3, in said county;

Referred to the Frederick delegation.

On motion of Mr. Morgan,

Leave was granted the committee on Agriculture, hereafter to
be appointed, to report a bill to provide for the prompt settlement
of disputes between the buyers and sellers of wheat, sold by
sample, and for the appointment of an official measurer and
weigher of wheat in Baltimore city;

Which was adopted.

On motion of Mr. Burgess,

Leave was granted to introduce a bill to repeal resolution No.
27, passed at December session, 1833, in relation to the dona-
tion to St. Paul's free school, in Charles county.

On motion of Mr. Alexander,

Leave was granted the committee on Judiciary, hereafter to be
appointed, to introduce a bill to regulate the fee of the criers of
the Superior Court, the court of Common Pleas and the Crimi-
nal court of Baltimore city.

On motion of Mr. Ford, of Baltimore county,

Leave was granted the committee on Judiciary, hereafter to be
appointed, to bring in a bill to make valid a deed from George
Peters and James Murray, commissioners for opening streets in
the city of Baltimore, and Miles White, to William N. Todd.
On motion of Mr. Kilgour,

Leave was granted the committee on Judiciary, hereafter to be
appointed, to introduce a bill entitled an act to confirm and make
valid a deed from John L. Harkings and Augusta A. Hark-
ings, his wife, to Henry A. Barrow.                         

On motion of Mr. Kilgour,

Leave was granted to committee on Judiciary, hereafter to be
appointed, to introduce a bill, entitled an act to make valid a deed
from Charles G. Ogden to James L. Hartley.

On motion of Mr. McPherson,

Leave was granted to the committee on Corporations, here-
after to be appointed, to bring in a bill, entitled, An act, further
