On motion of Mr. Allender,

Leave was granted the Baltimore county delegation, to
introduce a bill to set apart the real estate of Baltimore coun-
ty, known as the Alms House property, for the payment of the
public debt of said county, and for dedicating the same to the
reduction of the direct taxes of said county.

On motion of Mr. Harding,

Leave was granted to the Frederick county delegation, to
introduce a bill to incorporate the trustees of Central School
in Frederick county.

On motion of Mr. Stirling,

Leave was granted to the committee on the Judiciary, to
introduce a bill supplementary to the act of 1854, chapter 193,
relating to insolvent debtors.

Mr. Alexander, from the committee on Judiciary, reported
favorably on a bill entitled, an act for the relief of Thomas S.
Beall, surviving executor of Aquilla Beall, former clerk of
Prince George's county Court; also;

Favorably on a bill entitled, an act to facilitate the
collection of debts, in suits instituted in the Superior Court of
Baltimore city, and in the Court of Common Pleas, of Balti-
more city ;

Which was read the first time; also,

Favorably on a bill entitled, an act to make general provi-
sion by which the names of individuals may be changed with-
out the action of the Legislature ;

Which was read the first time; also,

Favorably on a bill entitled, an act to authorise incorpora-
ted churches, congregations and religious societies, to sell and
convey their property:

Which was read the first time; also,

Favorably on a bill entitled, an act to provide for the super-
seding of judgments in the Courts of this State ;

Which was read the first time; also,

Favorably on a bill entitled, an act to establish a uniform
rate of compensation for judges and clerks of elections in this
State;

Which was read the first time; also,

Favorably on the Senate bill entitled, an act to make valid
a deed from Nathan Tyson, George Ellicott and Edward Lee
to Charles Timanus, and to authorise the recording of the
same; also,

Favorably on a bill entitled, an act to provide for and regu-
