Allegany county, to reduce the assessment of a tract of land
in said county;

Mr. Rogers presented a petition Thomas R. Matthews,
against any act to authorise the construction of a road pro-
posed and said to be called Green Spring Avenue;

Which was read and referred to the committee on Roads
and Highways.

Mr. Waller presented a petition of thirty-eight citizens of
Somerset county, praying for an inspector and weigher of
grain in Baltimore city;
