The proceedings of yesterday were read.

Mr. Summers presented a petition from Abram Strite,
President of the Hagerstown and Waynesburg Turnpike Com-
pany, in Washington county, praying a reduction of tolls on
said road;

Which was referred to the Washington county delegation.

Mr. Alexander presented a petition of the President and
Directors of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad, praying to be
released from the payment of certain tax therein mentioned;

Which was referred to the committee on Corporations.
