A bill entitled, an act supplementary to an act entitled, an
act appropriating a sum of money to pay for a painting illus-
trating the surrender of George Washington of his commis-
sion as Commander-in-Chief of the Army of the American
Revolution;                         

Which was read the first time, and by special order, the se-
cond and third times, and passed by yeas and nays as fol-

to a bequest made in the last will and testament of Leah Gate,
late of Cecil county, deceased, for the support of a minister of

the Protestant Episcopal Church at Saint Mark's Chapel in
said county;

Which was read the first time and referred to the Cecil
county delegation; also,                   

A bill entitled, an act to provide for taking a general
index of judgments in Somerset county;

Which was read the first time, and referred to the Somerset
delegation.                                                                         

Severally endorsed, "passed by yeas and nays."
