On motion of Mr. Goldsborough,
The rules were suspended, and

Leave was granted a committee of one from each county,
and the city of Baltimore, to introduce a bill to fix an uniform
per diem rate of payment to each of the Judges of the Orphans'
Courts of this State.

Mr. Belt, from a select committee, introduced a bill enti-
tled, an act for the relief of C. S. Keech, administrator of
Thomas P. Turner, former deputy Sheriff of Prince George's
county;

Which was read the first time.

The bill entitled, an act to incorporate Irving College, in
Manchester, Carroll county ;

Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.
