Talbot county, for the erection of a bridge over the waters of
Miles River;

Which was referred to the Talbot county delegation.

Mr. Duvall presented a petition of ninety-eight persons from
Montgomery county, asking for the establishment of a Primary
School system for that county;

Which was referred to the committee on Education.

Mr. Mackubin presented a petition of Louisa Gassaway of
the city of Annapolis, praying to be allowed a pension, &c.;
Which was referred to the committee on Pensions.

Mr. Stirling presented a petition of 246 ladies of the 18th
Ward of Baltimore city, praying the passage of a prohibitory
liquor law;

Which was referred to the committee on Judiciary.

Mr. Stirling presented a petition of 98 ladies of the 15th
Ward of Baltimore city, praying the passage of a prohibitory
liquor law;

Which was referred to the committee on Judiciary.

Mr. Stirling presented a petition of 89 ladies of the 16th
Ward of Baltimore city, asking the passage of a prohibitory
liquor law;

Which was referred to the committee on Judiciary.

Mr. Stirling* presented a petition of 90 ladies of the 17th
Ward of Baltimore city, asking the passage of a prohibitory
liquor law;

Which was referred to the committee on Judiciary.

Mr. Stirling presented the memorial of the Board of Man-
agers of the House of Refuge;

Which was read and referred to a special committee, con-
sisting of Messrs. Smith, of Baltimore city, Stirling, Grieves,
Contee and Thruston.

On motion of Mr. Stirling,

Ordered, that 100 copies of said memorial be printed for
the use of this House.
