Mr. Morgan, from a select committee, reported favorably on
a bill entitled, an act to incorporate the village of Leonard-
town, in St. Mary's county ;

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Allender, from a select committee, reported favorably
on a bill entitled, a supplement to an act entitled, an act to
incorporate the School commissioners of Baltimore county ;

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Harrington, from a select committee, presented the fol-
lowing report:

The committee on the rules for the government of this House,
beg leave to report, that they recommend the rules of the last
House of Delegates as the rules for the government of this
House.

Which was adopted.

The Senate bill entitled, an act to make valid and effectual
an agreement between the George's Creek Coal and Iron Com-
pany, and the Cumberland and Pennsylvania Rail road Com-
pany;

Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed
for a third reading.

The bill entitled, an act to make valid a deed to Nicholas
V. Browne;

Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The bill entitled, an act for the relief of James Murray,
being on its second reading;

On motion of Mr. Stirling,
The following section was added to the bill:

Sec. 4. And be it enacted, that the creditors, if any there
be, of the said Alexander McGregor Murray, deceased, shall
have the same right to make the said real estate liable for the
debts of the said Alexander McGregor Murray, as if he, the
said Alexander had been a citizen of the United States, and
capable of holding the said real estate.

The said bill was then read the second time, as amended,
and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.

The Secretary of the Senate delivered the following Senate
