The said bill was then sent to the Senate.
On motion of Mr. McPherson,
Leave was granted to the committee on the Judiciary, to in-
troduce an act compelling all officers of the State intended to
be reached by the 10th Article of the Constitution, under
penalties to make reports of the emoluments of their office,
to the Comptroller, and to empower that officer as by Act of
1853, chapter 444, relative to clerks and registers.
Mr. Stirling offered the following order:
Ordered, That John W. Ross, be, and he is hereby ap-
pointed a director, on the part of the State, in the Bank of
Baltimore;
Which was adopted.
