Mr. Thruston offered the following order:

Ordered, That the Governor he, and he is, hereby respect-
fully requested to furnish to this House, copies of the proceed-
ings and correspondence on file in the State Department in re-
lation to marking and establishing the Western Boundary
Line of this State, under the acts of the General Assembly of
Maryland, of January session 1852, chapters 60 and 275, and
of January session 1856, chapter 220 ;

Which was adopted.

On motion of Mr. Kilgour,

Leave was granted to Messrs. Kilgour, Summers and Gray
to introduce a bill to incorporate the People's Mining Company,
On motion of Mr. Allender,

Leave was granted to the Baltimore county delegation to in-
troduce a bill supplementary to an act entitled, an act to in-
corporate the School Commissioners of Baltimore county.

On motion Mr. Kilgour,

Leave was granted to the Allegany delegation, to introduce
a bill entitled, an act to increase the bounty on fox scalps,

And it was made the special order of the day for Friday,
the 5th day of February.

On motion of Mr. Morgan,

Leave was granted to withdraw from the files of the House
certain papers in relation to the wharf at State Tobacco Ware-
house No. 2, in the city of Baltimore.

On motion of Mr. Magruder,

Leave was granted to the committee on Education to in-
troduce a bill for the establishment of a Normal or Training
School at St. John's College, Annapolis, and the Institution
of the office of superintendant of Public Instruction in con-
nection therewith.

On motion of Mr. Magruder,

Leave was granted to the committee on Claims to introduce
a bill to refund to Thomas B. Billingsley, late sheriff of Gal-
vert, a sum of money paid by him into the Treasury, on ac-
count of a fine, which had been remitted by the Governor.

On motion of Mr. Contee,

Leave was granted to the committee on Inspections to in-
troduce a bill entitled an act to regulate the Inspection of
