Mr. Dail, from the committee on Claims, reported favorably
on a bill entitled, an act appropriating a sum of money to
Gould and Glanville, for desks and chairs furnished the
House of Delegates, and freight on the same;

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Dail, from the committee on Claims, reported favora-
bly on a bill entitled, an act to refund to Lydia Knox, of
Worcester county, a certain sum of money erroneously paid
into the Treasury.

The said bill was then read the second time, and by special
order, the1 third time, three-fourths of the members concur-
ring, and passed by yeas and nays, as follows:

Mr. Hanway, from a select committee, reported favorably on
a bill entitled, an act to authorise the Trustees of Churchville
Presbyterian congregation to hold certain real estate.

On motion of Mr. Hanway,

The rules were suspended, and said bill was read the first
time, by special order the second and third times, three fourths
concurring, and passed by yeas and nays as follows :
