Mr. Burgess, presented a petition of the tobacco planters of Which was read and referred to the committee on Inspec- The Secretary of the Senate delivered the following mes- By the Senate: January 21st, 1858. We propose with the concurrence of your honorable body, to constitute the standing committee on Printing of the two Houses, a joint committee to contract for the printing of the Laws, that may be passed at the present session, the contract to be subject to the ratification of the two Houses.
