The Speaker laid before the House the communication of
W. J. Steuart and J. H. Steuart, relative to elections;

Which was referred to the committee on Elections.
On motion of Mr. Worthington,

The rules were suspended and the House took up for con-
sideration the resolutions to furnish Captain Richard J.
Worthington, of the Reisterstown Rifles, with arms and
equipments for said company; when                           

On motion of Mr. Goldsborough,

The resolutions were laid on the table.
On motion of Mr. Miller,

The rules were suspended, and the House took up for con-
sideration the bill entitled, an act to amend the 61st section
of the 8th article of the code of public local laws, relating to
election districts in Cecil county, by changing the divisional
line between election districts number three and number five;

Which was read the second time, and by special order the
third time, and passed by yeas and nays as follow :
