Mr. Worthington, from a special committee, reported
favorably on the bill entitled, an act to repeal the seventeenth
article of the code of public general laws relating to the
State Agriculture Chemist;
Which was read the first time.
Mr. Worthington presented a petition from R. Norris and
others, asking to make valid a deed from Arthur J. Rich and
wife to the vestry of St. Michael's Church in Baltimore
county;
Referred to the Baltimore county delegation.
Mr. Beall presented a petition from John Carder, praying
compensation for services rendered the State;
Referred to the committee on Claims.
