The said bill was then sent to the Senate.

Mr. Goldsborough, from the committee on Corporations,
reported favorably on the Senate bill entitled, an act to au-
thorise the trustees of the primary school district No. 23, in
the 4th election district of Caroline county, in their discretion
to sell and dispose of the old school-house, formerly in pri-
mary school district, No. 23, in fourth election district of said
county, and apply the proceeds to the building of a new school
house in school district No. 23, in the 4th election district of
said county;

Also, on the Senate bill entitled, an act amendatory of an
act to incorporate the Baltimore Steam Packet company, by
authorising said company to purchase and hold stock in
other companies or general or State governments ;

Also, on the Senate bill entitled, an act to incorporate the;
Florence Mining company of Maryland ;

Also, on the Senate bill entitled, an act to incorporate the
Sonora and Arizona company ;

Also, on the Senate bill entitled, an act to incorporate the
Western Maryland Telegraph company,;

Also, on the Senate bill entitled, an act to incorporate the
Chesapeake and Potomac Steam Packet company ;

Also, on the Senate bill entitled, an act to add the follow-
ing section to article six and seventeen of the code of public
local laws, relating to the keeping of hogs in the village of
Templeville, in Caroline and Queen Anne's counties.

Also, on the bill entitled, an act to incorporate the North
Branch Railroad company :

Also, on the bill entitled, an act to incorporate the town of
Rockville, in Montgomery county ;                                     

Which were severally read the first time.
