Gentlemen of the House of Delegates :

We respectfully ask you to return to the Senate, the House
bill No. 62.

By order,

Wm. Kilgour,

Secretary.

Which were concurred in.

The hour having arrived for taking up the order of the
day;

The House took up for consideration the bill entitled, an
act to amend the 4th article of the code of public local laws
by adding thereto the following sections, requiring and pre-
scribing the mode of registering the legal voters of the city
of Baltimore;

Said bill being upon its second reading,

Mr. Krafft proposed the following amendment:

In 3d line after the word "Baltimore," insert "or election
district of any county in the State."

Pending the consideration of which,
Mr. Coudy moved a call of the House;
Which was not sustained, when

On motion of Mr. Turner, of Baltimore city,
The House adjourned at 2½ o'clock until 3½ o'clock, P. M.

AFTERNOON SESSION, 3½ o'clock.

The House met pursuant to adjournment.
