Mr. Roop, from a select committee, reported favorably on
the bill entitled, an act to incorporate the Baltimore and Lib-
berty Turnpike Road company in Carroll and Frederick coun-
ties ;

Which was read the first time.

The bill entitled, an act to amend the 4th article of the
code of public local laws, by adding thereto the following sec-
tion, relating to measuring oysters in the city of Baltimore ;

Was read the second time, and by special order the third
time, and passed by yeas and nays as follow:
