On motion,
Said order was laid on the table.

The Secretary of the Senate delivered the following hills,
severally endorsed: "passed by yeas and nays.'"

A bill entitled, an act to appropriate sufficient money to
pay the expenses incurred by Emanuel Myers ;

A bill entitled, an act to refund to Samuel T. Hopkins and
John Donovan, certain taxes;

A bill entitled, an act to compensate Edwin A. Atlee, Wil-
liam Delphy, Joseph B. Greenwood, Jacob Leppo and Thos.
G. Kelley, of Carroll county, for the arrest of Dr. Wm.
Boyd, in the act of running off negro slaves from the District
of Columbia;

A bill entitled, an act for the relief of Henry M. Fitzhugh,
administrator of William Fitzhugh;

A bill entitled, an act to pay George Vickers for legal ser-
vices rendered the State in the case of the State against Al-
bert Reed;

A bill entitled, an act to refund to Robert Goldsborough,
late register of wills for Queen Anne's county, a certain sum
of money improperly paid into the Treasury of the State;

Which were severally read the first time, and referred to
the committee on Claims.

A bill entitled, an act to amend an act entitled, an act to
incorporate a bank in Centreville, Queen Anne's county,
passed January session, 1856, chapter 147;

Which was read the first time, and referred to the commit-
tee on Corporations.

A bill entitled, an act to authorise Thomas J. Frazier, of
Dorchester county, to convey by deed certain property in said
county, sold by him as guardian for Arthur C. Mitchell,
Albert M. Mitchell, William O. Mitchell, Sarah E. Mitchell
and John M. Mitchell, to Charles B. Frazier:

Which was read the first time, and referred to the com-
mittee on the Judiciary.

A bill entitled, an act to exempt the citizens of Dorchester
county from the provisions of the laws heretofore enacted in
regard to wild fowl, so far as the same may relate, directly or
indirectly, to the shooting of wild ducks, geese or swan on
the Choptank river, below Oyster Shell point;

Which was read the first time, and referred to the com-
mittee on Wild Fowl.
